Why play games of chance?
When betting
accumulating debt
the winners
never win.
When betting
what they have not
a roll of the die
will predict thy fate
losers never lose.
Three card molly cons
the winner
to lose
what he had not
to lose.
So is life
a game of chance
a lucky winner
who
has to lose
if not today
surely tomorrow.

Yes winning is good. But throwing money away on games of chance is foolish.
